Yukon - Whitehorse / Marsh Lake
One of the biggest natural attractions in the Yukon are the Northern Lights. The earth's magnetic field attracts solar dust particles to form rings around the polar region. Dancing streamers can be pale green, pink, red and blue. Most often the aurora is greenish in color, the result of particles streaming into atmosphere at speeds of up to 37,000 miles per second. Marsh Lake is one of the very few places where you will be able to enjoy the Aurora from the comfort of the exclusive Lodge. |

| The Yukon is known for it's clear winter days. February and March are spectacular months to experience winter magic. After a day of snow shoeing, cross country skiing, back country or down hill skiing, dog mushing, or snowmobiling try to relax in our outdoor hot tub or sauna and get ready for another night of spectacular Northern Lights viewing.
Other Activities may include: A scenic 1-hour drive from the resort, you will find yourself in the White Pass area -, a mountain Pass that separates the Yukon from Alaska. This area traces the steps of the gold seekers en-route to Dawson City in search of fortune in 1898. Today, the area provides some of the best backcountry skiing in Canada. If you prefer to ski on groomed runs, Mount Sima, an enjoyable community ski area is only20 minutes from the resort. Some on the best and untouched regions for snowmobiling are right out our back door. With hundreds of square miles of open space as well as challenging country, Yukon is a Snowmobilers heaven. (Guided trips available)
